Jeff Blair of Toronto’s Globe and Mail is reporting that Chapman has signed with the Reds for a 5 year, $30 Million contract.
Chapman, a Cuban defector, can reportedly hit triple digits on the gun with his fastball. The 22 year old lefty will likely start in the minors, but could taste his first Major League action later this season.
