1) Mike Trout-SP

Outstanding stuff. Bull dog mentality and a real mound presence. All the makings of a future ace.

2) Trevor Reckling-SP

Had a real solid campaign in AA even though he was real young. I expect him to take another step forward this year. Throw in some injuries and he might debut this year.

3) Peter Bourjos-OF

Real fast. I had him going to Toronto in the proposed Roy Halladay trade. Could be a real good leadoff hitter and already is a real good defensive outfielder.

4) Garrett Richards-SP

I really like this kid a lot. Real mature and has some real good stuff. So far so good on the command side, but I want to see it transition to the upper minors.

5) Hank Conger-C

I do like his bat- I just don’t know if he can call a solid game behind the plate, and that is my number 1 when I’m looking at a catcher.

6) Tyler Skaggs-SP

I’m lukewarm on him. He’s been decent in his short time- which is great, but I want to see him perform this year before throwing him into the top 5.

7) Fabio Martinez-SP

Good punch out rate- but bad K-BB ratio. I kind of see him as more of a closer than a starter in the long term.

8) Jon Bachanov-SP

Another plus arm in the system. Had a real strong season in the rookie league and showed he’s well healed from his Tommy John Surgery.

9) Jordan Waldon-SP

I want to see how he recovers from his injuries. If healthy- can be a real plus addition to the system.

10) Trevor Bell-RP

Still hanging around. Had a pretty solid 2009, but he’s really gotta back that up in terms of production this year to show he belongs.
