1) Shelby Miller-SP

Has the stuff to be an ace. Does he have the  makeup?

2) Lance Lynn-SP

Probably a 3 at his best. His stuff isn’t as good as a lot of pitchers, but he gets outs by knowing how to pitch. That will come in handy against experienced hitters.

3) Eduardo Sanchez-SP

Power arm and future replacement for Ryan Franklin in a couple years? Sure looks like it.

4) Robert Stock-C

I like his power, I like his defense. A couple holes in his swing, but definitely fixable. 2011 perhaps?

5) Jaime Garcia-SP

I want to see how he comes back from Tommy John before saying anything about him. You just never know if he’ll return to form.

6) Allen Craig-OF

Could force his way into the Arch with a strong spring. It might be better for him to play in AAA consistently- but he’s definitely a guy to keep an yee on.

7) David Freese-3B

Is going to get the shot to win the job for the big league club. I question him a bit and the DUI doesn’t help matters. All or nothing this year.

8) Daryl Jones-OF

Had a bad 2009. Lets see if he rebounds. He’s gotta stay healthy.

9) Joe Kelly-SP

Maybe my favorite pitcher in the system right now. Brandon Webb like power sinker. Just has to harness it. It takes some time to figure out that kind of movement.

10) Dan Descalso-2B

Struggled after his promotion. Big deal- Still outstanding upside here.
