Ryan Shaffrey

Ryan is the youngest writer on staff as a 2011 high school graduate, yet is an experienced sports journalist and editor, providing fresh perspectives issues across the board. He is and always will be a die-hard Cubs fan, and has extended a plea to the baseball gods that he may be able to witness a world series championship in his lifetime. Ryan himself is a serious athlete and plans to play baseball at a collegiate level. Apart from baseball he runs the 200m sprint as a varsity member of the track team and starts at defensive back for the varsity football team. Ryan is planning to major in journalism and/or other communication related fields.
