Capps chooses Washington over Cubs and Mets

Matt Capps has agreed to a 1 year 3.5 million dollar deal according to ESPN with the Washington Nationals. Speculation emerged that the Cubs and Mets were the front runners, but apparently Capps believed closing was more important than anything and that’s what Washington offered him.
